The odds of wining a mark 6 (1st prize) is 1/13983816or 1/(49C6) = (6! x (49-6)!)/49!, meaning the odds of gettingparticular 6 balls out of 49 balls , while the order of the 6 balls does not matter. The usual assumptions: 1) each ball carries equal chance of being picked, 2) it is a without replacement case, i.e., the ball will not be re-dumped to thepool after being picked up......Well, theory IS theory, given there were a no. of peoplewinning the 1st prize (I doubt it, at least, none of myfriends have ever won any prize though!),why don't we bet??LOL......
